Nubian Dairy Goats

Our Best... that's the herd name not a boast...

You know how it goes… “let’s just get a couple of doelings for milk.”… What? We have to wait a year for milk? Ugh! Well, let’s find a couple of ‘milkers’. And so it goes…

We have 2 American Nubian Does, courtesy of Slate Woods Farm in Winchester,KY, Jada and Jana.   Pixie and Katie are Purebred Nubians from South Carolina.  Katie has delivered a striking buck that we have named Orion. He is frosted in the back with 'stars' and a white belt at the midsection.  Pixie has delivered the first set of triplets. Talk about spots and all girls!  Marcheline- for the month, Fawn- you'll understand the name when you see her and Trinity- the third, are Moses' favorites. He has stated that we cannot sell them.
We acquired ‘Misty’  in January of 2008, she is a Willow Run doe purchased from Twin Meadow Farm in Glencoe. Just wonderful!  Recently we purchased Dreama, an IR Ranch doe, again from Jan at Twin Meadows- she is gorgeous!!  Misty's kid is a doeling Spring Willow; Dreama's kids are Dreama's Justice and Dreama's Legacy. All we can say is WOW!
We have yearling does running around Princess Aida, a purebred and her littermate Cleopatra. Aida delivered us a single doeling on Christmas Eve, she is named Stella. Cleo surprised us, she is bred and due anyday. KasiAnna ,from Pixie is bred and also due anyday.  Jada gave us the beautiful Bella Luna and her littermate Blackfoot, he is sold to a fellow out of Tennessee. Bella delivered a single doeling in late February, she is named Duvessa, which means Dark Beauty... and boy is she. She has a remarkably straight topline.
All of our goats are registered with ADGA or registerable. Check back often to see our kids.
Maybe there will be one for sale that ‘you’ just gotta have!

WE CURRENTLY HAVE 4 GORGEOUS DOELING FOR SALE $100. EACH; AND 2 ADULT DOES $100. EACH.  THEY ARE ALL VERY NICE WITH GOOD PERSONALITIES; 25 IS JUST TOO MANY GOATS! :-)

As we grow our produce and fruit so we raise our animals; naturally. We will only use antibiotics if absolutely necessary. The same goes for chemical wormers, opting instead for an herbal approach, good pasture management, and using our chickens behind our goats.
