Some farm rules that we want to pass along:
1) There is a no smoking policy on the farm. This is a courtesy as well as a necessity due to buildings and the dry summers.
2) No alcoholic beverages please. We will have soft drinks and water available. This is a family farm.
3) Please do not bring your pets.
4) This is a working farm with livestock. Please pay attention and heed any signage pertaining to the animals and their housing, this includes the barn. The white netted fence surrounding the chickens is electric.
5) Picknicking is fine. We do not have a separate area though... Remember to clean up your area. Grilling is permitted ONLY with advance notice and scheduling.
6) Parents, keep an eye on your children. They make great pickers for a short while. There is a play area you/they may visit. However, play is at your risk and you are responsible for your childrens's safety.
7) Remember this is our home as well as our farm. Please respect any private areas.
8) Rain is a part of every summer- We don't pick in the rain, we don't pick in thunder/lightning either. If it is raining where you are, call first.
